Fixed income trader at tier 1 asset management firm

Your new role

  • Act as the primary liaison between portfolio managers and brokers, ensuring seamless pre-trade coordination.

  • Execute trades across Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange markets, including:

  • Conventional government and corporate bonds

  • Sukuk government and corporate bonds
  • Listed and over-the-counter derivatives
  • FX spot, forward, and swap transactions
  • Uphold rigorous standards of conduct in full compliance with MAS regulations and internal policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of trade orders using appropriate tools, electronic platforms, and direct market access where applicable.
  • Adhere strictly to dealing desk protocols, maintaining integrity in order transmission, execution, and fair allocation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Currently holding relevant CMFAS licences for OTC derivatives, CIS (collective investment scheme), exchange traded derivatives
  • At least 1 year experience in Asian bond trading
  • Experience with trading platforms, working with market brokers
  • Equity experience is a plus
