Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the Asia region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local standards.
  • Consolidate financial performance across markets, analyze key trends, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Drive the annual budgeting cycle and rolling forecasts, including variance reviews and commentary to support proactive business planning.
  • Monitor business performance metrics, identify cost optimization opportunities, and support initiatives to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Uphold robust internal controls, policies, and governance processes, and manage internal/external audit requirements to ensure compliance across the region.
  • Oversee adherence to statutory reporting, tax obligations, transfer pricing rules, and other local regulatory requirements in Asia.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to commercial and operational teams, providing financial input for strategic projects, investments, and business cases.
  • Champion continuous improvement by streamlining finance processes, driving automation, and supporting system implementations or upgrades to enhance data integrity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • At least 6 years of progressive finance experience, with proven regional exposure and strong technical knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and financial reporting tools, with a track record of driving process improvements.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
