As an Manager, Ward & Inpatient Services, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist senior management in planning and managing bed capacity, inpatient service delivery, and related infrastructure or technology projects.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the inpatient care journey, including process improvements, digital solutions, and automation projects.
  • Partner with nursing leaders and clinical teams in wards, intensive care, and high-dependency units to implement care model changes and operational redesign.
  • Act as a change agent for institution-wide initiatives aimed at improving patient care, digital adoption, and workforce sustainability.
  • Set and deliver both short- and long-term goals for the team, covering project planning, budgeting, procurement, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Support administrative planning at the department level, including annual budgeting, workforce development planning, performance review processes, and asset management.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to guide staff development and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by participating in relevant training and building networks within the healthcare sector.
  • Contribute to special projects and other assignments as directed by reporting officers.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in any related fields or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Practical experience in managing operations, process improvement, or policy development; exposure to hospital or clinical settings will be advantageous.
