Set in 15 acres of lush greenery just minutes from the vibrant Orchard Road shopping belt, the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore is a tranquil, sophisticated urban retreat whether travelling for business or leisure. It features 792 luxurious guestrooms and suites across three distinct wings, which include unique family-themed rooms, supported by a host of dedicated family-focused amenities.

We are looking for a Health Club Manager to join our team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of fitness instructors and recreation assistants.

  • Conduct performance appraisals and staff training programs.
  • Maintain high service standards and foster a positive work environment.

  • Operations & Guest Experience

  • Oversee daily operations of the Health Club, pool, and tennis court.

  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.

  • Sales & Membership

  • Promote Health Club memberships and organise joint activities to attract new members.

  • Build rapport with existing members and the public.

  • Training & Development

  • Recommend and facilitate staff training and upgrading courses (e.g., First Aid, CPR).

  • Identify training needs and schedule sessions accordingly.

  • Administration

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks.

  • Adhere to hotel policies including Lost & Found and guest relations protocols.
Qualifications & Attributes:
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Recognised fitness certifications and valid CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts, long hours, and public holidays.
