About the role
This is a full-time opportunity to join the dynamic team at AWOT GLOBAL LOGISTICS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. as an Operation Executive – Airfreight Import/Export. Based in the Changi East Region, this role is integral to the company's freight forwarding operations, focusing on the import and export of air cargo.
Working Hours
- 5.5 days/week (Alternate Saturday)
What you'll be doing
- Handle end-to-end process for both air import/export shipments efficiently and accurately
- Ensure timely and accurate billing invoices are generated and sent to customers to facilitate prompt payments
- Perform checks on cargo clearance permits and cargo conditions before releasing to warehouse or traffic team
- Prepare and submit MAWB/HAWB and permit declarations for import/export shipments
- Monitor and follow up on shipment status with all relevant parties, including customers, carriers, co-loaders, transporters, and overseas agents
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment operations
- Familiar with using CCN and other related systems for airfreight operations
- Handle documentation, shipment details, and communications (via email or system) with customers and overseas agents
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior
What we're looking for
- Singaporean & Permanent Resident only, candidate required working pass need not to apply
- Willing to perform overtime and standby duties before/after office hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required
- Able to handle high volumes of work and manage urgent or time-sensitive shipments effectively
- Possess a good working attitude, hardworking, and able to perform under pressure
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- A team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Relevant experience in airfreight operations, including handling A.O.G. shipments, is an advantage
- Candidates without experience are welcome to apply – training will be provided
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the logistics and freight forwarding industry
