Working in a small, fun, and dynamic team pushing the frontiers of education, you'll be the go-to person and our engine driving AfterSkool's marketing momentum.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead generation: Execute campaigns across social, website, and events that drive enquiries and referrals. Monitor results closely and suggest improvements.
  • Own our social media presence: Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. Be the first to respond to DMs and keep engagement buzzing.
  • Manage our outsourced production team and stay on top of weekly social media experiments and tracking
  • Community management: Build and nurture parent/student communities, both online and on-site. Create initiatives, swag, and more that attract people to AfterSkool.
  • Website execution: Bring website ideas to life, including layout updates and integrating marketing ideas from Geniebook.
  • Photography and Design: Own all design work — from photoshoots to final edits and IG graphics to printed materials. Canva, Adobe, whatever it takes. Bonus if you can take great photos, videos, or go 'live' with a regular smartphone.
  • Special project support: Support bootcamps, 1-1 teacher consults, TikTok Live Teaching, and other conversion or engagement campaigns.
  • Awards management: Handle student awards process from end-to-end, ensuring a steady stream of testimonials that reinforces us as the top education provider of choice.

Work Schedule:

  • 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend: 10am - 7pm

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a marketing, creative, community role
  • Proven ability to run lead generation campaigns and measure ROI Strong organisational and executional skills; you love ticking things off your to-do list
  • Great eye for design and detail, and comfortable creating visual assets with Adobe
  • Social media savvy; you know what performs well and how to adapt content for each platform
  • Experience in community building or community management OR a natural people-magnet and party organiser
  • Someone who can take ownership and run with ideas
  • Interest in education is a big plus
