Baker (Pastry & Bread)

• Responsible for daily preparation and production of pastry & bread items while maintaining costs and ensuring consistency quality of pastry & bread products.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of all food items in accordance with standards and sanitation/health regulations.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

• At least 1-2 years working experience as pastry or bread baker.
• Have good knowledge in pastry & bread, and hold a Certificate in Pastry & Bakery or equivalent are more preferable.
• Used to production routine.
• Have good communication.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Working location: 239 Pandan Loop #02-01, Food Concept @ Pandan, Singapore
• Hourly pay rates for part-time: $9 - $12 on weekday & weekend, $ $13.50 on public holiday.

Plain Vanilla Bakery it started out with a simple, earnest ambition to create and share some good old-fashioned cake with our local community; cake that was made with real wholesome ingredients, and was familiar and comforting. In a world of mass-produced confections, we wanted to go back to basics and bake like our mums and grandmothers used to – moist red velvet cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, apple pound cake drizzled with caramel, decadent chocolate brownies, warm and fudgey on the inside. The kind of scents, flavours, and textures that make us nostalgic for days gone by.
