Summary
We are looking for a Video-Content Specialist to join us You will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing video content across multiple formats (social short-form, longer brand videos, campus & student testimonial videos). You'll ensure high-quality production and storytelling, and optimise content for the student audience (Primary /Secondary/JC) and across platforms including TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end video production: concept, scripting/storyboarding, location planning, shooting (on-site, studio, events), editing, motion graphics, colour grading, audio mixing.
  • Produce a mix of video types: tutor interviews, social media short-form videos, campaign videos, event coverage, and student testimonials,
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Creative teams to ensure alignment with brand positioning, campaign goals and student audience.
  • Adapt video outputs for multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, website) including repurposing.
  • Manage archive of video assets; ensure organisation, versioning, backup.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in video production and social video trends (including TikTok and Instagram Reels).
  • Occasionally handle photography support (still images) as needed.
  • Ensure efficient production schedules and manage budgets where relevant.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in professional video production (corporate or agency) including shooting/editing.
  • Proficiency in video production tools: cameras (DSLR/ mirrorless/cinema), lighting, audio, editing tools (Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve), motion graphics (After Effects), colour grading.
  • Strong storytelling ability, with a keen sense of pacing, visuals and audio to engage viewers.
  • Experience adapting videos for social media platforms.
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, work under pressure.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • A strong portfolio/reel demonstrating a variety of video formats and platforms.
  • Willingness to be on-site for shoots, including occasional non-standard hours (events, student activities).
  • Experience in education or youth-facing brands; experience creating TikTok-specific content is a bonus
