Job Description:

Supply & Demand Planning

  • Develop and manage customer demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer orders
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for customer orders, minimizing excess or aged stock
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, procurement, logistics) to align demand and supply
  • Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to manage inventory data, order flow, and reporting
  • Perform monthly sales forecast analysis and participate in S&OP discussions

Customer Account Management

  • Handle customer queries, urgent orders, and delivery requirements with a responsive approach
  • Service and maintain existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities
  • Prepare and issue accurate sales quotations
  • Follow up on leads and build strong relationships with customers

Supplier Coordination & Cost Management

  • Monitor market price trends and conduct analysis to inform procurement decisions
  • Negotiate purchase pricing with suppliers to secure competitive advantage
  • Consolidate shipments where possible to reduce logistics costs

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering or Material Science background
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • IT savvy and knowledge in MS Office and SAP
  • Persuasive and Negotiation Skills
  • Cost Management Techniques
  • Listening and communication skills
  • Customer Relationship Management
