Role Overview

As a Principal Architect, you will play a key role in managing architectural design and coordination of high-rise office and transport-related buildings, including MRT stations and infrastructures, from conceptualization to construction. You will collaborate with senior management, various divisions, agencies, and industry partners to develop and implement architectural initiatives and policies, ensuring quality design and a sustainable transport environment. Responsibilities also include writing proposals, preparing presentations, and leading meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and implement building and station designs.
  • Prepare tender specifications, documentation, and manage architectural aspects of projects on-site.
  • Lead architectural discussions in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Develop and coordinate design details from concept through construction.
  • Engage in proposal writing and presentation.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of architecture principles and practices.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in architectural design.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and submission processes.
  • Leadership ability in multidisciplinary discussions and team management.
  • Strategic thinking, independence, and ability to handle complex issues.
  • Proficiency in presentation software, CAD, and BIM drafting.
  • Experience in rail and building projects is advantageous.
  • Applicants with extensive experience may qualify for senior roles.
