About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events Operations Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in managing end-to-end event operations, thrives under pressure, and enjoys working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. This role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless execution of both local and overseas events, from planning through to onsite delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•    Lead and manage the operational planning and execution of events, including conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, pop-ups, and international activations.

•    Oversee logistics, production schedules, vendor coordination, staffing, and onsite operations.

•    Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

•    Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.

•    Supervise setup and teardown, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to safety standards.

•    Recruit, train, and manage event crew, freelancers, and overseas partners.

•    Troubleshoot and resolve challenges onsite with a calm and solutions-driven approach.

•    Provide post-event reporting, including feedback, financial reconciliation, and operational improvements.

Requirements

•    3–5 years of experience in event operations, project management, or related roles.

•    Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.

•    Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and international partners.

•    Proficient in project management tools, scheduling, and budget tracking.

•    Willingness to travel overseas for event execution (short-term assignments).

•    Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by event schedules.

•    Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
