Position Summary:

Deliver comprehensive economics education to diploma-level students, covering fundamental economic principles, theories, and their real-world applications through engaging instruction and practical case studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach diploma-level economics courses including microeconomics and macroeconomics
  • Develop lesson plans and curriculum aligned with diploma program requirements
  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions
  • Create assessments, assignments, and examination materials
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Integrate current economic events and case studies into teaching
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience at diploma or tertiary level
  • Strong knowledge of economic theories and principles
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to simplify complex economic concepts for student understanding
  • Up-to-date knowledge of AI applications in Economics
