About the role

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Provide guidance and expertise to professional staff and participate in the conduct of a wide range of assurance services.
  • Develop and train team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
  • Understand the clients' industry, key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
  • Plan engagement objectives to ensure compliance with professional standards and appropriately address risk.
  • Review and approve for signing all financial statements, opinions and reports and other deliverable documents for clients.
  • Monitor team progress against plan and drive performance as required.

  • have sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing.

Qualifications and experience:

You must:

  • be a qualified accountant (CA Singapore OR other relevant professional accounting qualifications)
  • have at least 6 years of relevant audit experience in a professional accounting firm in Singapore. Candidates with lesser than the minimum required number of years of relevant experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Audit Manager.
  • knowledge of Caseware audit software would be an added advantage
