
Product Manager

The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and supporting complex solutions, managing product lifecycles, and driving strategic pricing decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of customer requirements, strong cross-functional collaboration, and a data-driven approach to market analysis and product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Development & RFP Support
- Lead the development of tailored product solutions in response to complex customer needs and formal RFPs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with technical capabilities and commercial objectives
Customer & Sales Engagement
- Liaise with Sales team to gather and interpret customer feedback
- Contribute to promotional strategies and pricing initiatives based on market insights
Supplier Sourcing & Cost Analysis
- Source, partner and negotiate with multiple suppliers to optimize cost structures
- Conduct detailed cost analysis to ensure pricing remains competitive and market-aligned
Market & Pricing Strategy
- Perform in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, customer purchasing behavior, and economic indicators
- Translate insights into actionable pricing strategies and product positioning
Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the full product lifecycle—from ideation and development to launch, maintenance, and end-of-life planning
- Ensure timely execution of product milestones and go-to-market strategies
- Subject matter expert for assigned product processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Tech, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure cohesive strategy execution
- Facilitate alignment across teams to support product success
Performance Evaluation & Reporting
- Monitor product performance against key metrics such as profit margins, market share, and customer adoption
- Create and present reports on product performance, pricing effectiveness, and market insights to senior management
Ad-Hoc & Miscellaneous Duties
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Heads of Department (HODs)
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in product management, pricing strategy, or telecom-related solutions
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, commercial acumen, market knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions
- Familiarity with supplier sourcing and cost modelling is a plus
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Google Earth
- Language skills: Good command of English
