The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Officer - Used Car Refurbishment to support our internal Used Car team. This position is operational in nature and focused on coordinating inspection, parts estimation, job creation, and repair progress for vehicles undergoing refurbishment.

You will be the key liaison between the workshop, parts department, and the Used Car team, ensuring smooth workflow from vehicle intake to job completion and billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Intake & Inspection Coordination
  
  Receive vehicles from the Used Car team, create job cards, and coordinate inspection activities with the workshop.
• Defect Identification & Quotation Preparation
  
  Review inspection results, identify required rectification items, obtain parts quotations from suppliers, and prepare a consolidated repair estimate for Used Car team approval.
• Parts Sourcing & Ordering Workflow
  
  Upon approval, submit the parts request to the Parts Department and follow up to ensure timely availability of required parts.
• Job Scheduling & Progress Monitoring
  
  Coordinate with workshop teams to plan and prioritize repair work once parts arrive, ensuring efficient turnaround time.
• Completion & Billing
  
  Verify completed jobs, ensure all rectifications are properly recorded, and process billing for internal charge-out.
• Internal Communication & Stakeholder Support
  
  Maintain clear communication with the Used Car team on repair status, cost updates, and completion timelines.
• Continuous Improvement Support
  
  Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance refurbishment workflow and service quality.

Job Requirements

• GCE 'O' Levels or Nitec/Higher Nitec in automotive-related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales roles.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required.
• Basic understanding of vehicle functions and maintenance is preferred.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with various stakeholders.
