The Senior Manager, Human Resources is a senior management role, responsible for assisting with the formulation and implementation of HR strategy across a wide range of HR practices with the relevant management teams.
This role involves orchestrating people, structure, processes, and resources to support and implement the needs of this business whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivers and optimizes strategic objectives in support of organizational strategy and implement policies to ensure compliance.
- Bridges management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other concerns.
- Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Performs pipeline management and accurate people forecasting and resourcing activities in line with the strategic workforce planning model.
- Trains managers on the process of compensation and benefits governance and drive the implementation of all human resources programs.
- Trains and develops managers on the organization's leadership brand and ensure implementation thereof and ensure that training and development strategies are in line with business objectives.
- Manages and coordinates HR events calendar, compiles reports and HR metrics.
- Markets the organization's employee value proposition internally and externally and coordinates and implements employee satisfaction and best company to work for surveys.
- Provides ongoing training and education to managers on the performance management process.
- Effectively manages a HR team, creates and executes plans and reports on team activities in the relevant forums.
- Accountable for the implementation of the HR strategy with overall business objectives.
- Manages the facilitation of organizational design and optimal structures reflecting the current and evolving business strategy.
Manages the execution of transformation plans and targets, ensuring adherence to the appropriate transformation governances.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- Extended knowledge of strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Extended knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
- Extended expertise in performance appraisal processes, goal setting, and performance improvement techniques.
- Extended knowledge of recruitment strategies, candidate sourcing, and selection methods to attract and retain top talent.
- Ability to handle complex employee relations issues and resolving conflicts.
- Extended understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Extended leadership skills to lead and guide the HR team effectively.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage with senior level stakeholders.
- Extended proficiency in managing organizational change and leading change initiatives.
- Ability to make informed and data-driven decisions that impact HR and organizational outcomes.
- Extended skills in using HR data and metrics to derive insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and maintains the confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
- Extended ability to influence and persuade senior leaders to gain support for HR initiatives.
Eagerness to stay updated with the latest HR trends, industry best practices, and professional development.
Academic qualifications and certifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Human Resources or a related field.
Required experience:
- Extended demonstrated experience as a Senior Human Resources Manager preferably gained within a global IT organization.
- Extended demonstrated experience leveraging HR systems and technology.
- Extended demonstrated experience in labor legislation, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations.
- Extended line manager experience.
