Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and detailed visual inspections of building facades to identify cracks, damage, wear, and potential structural concerns, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all areas.
  • Perform ground-based inspections by walking around the building and utilizing binoculars and high-specification cameras to examine areas inaccessible to drones or hidden by obstacles.
  • Accurately document all findings, including detailed reports, high-quality photographs, and video footage of identified defects or risks, and provide clear, actionable recommendations for repairs or maintenance.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior staff and other team members to share inspection results, discuss findings, and contribute to the development of maintenance and repair plans.
  • Prepare detailed, professional reports in accordance with BCA (Building and Construction Authority) format, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills to present inspection results and recommendations clearly to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned by senior staff, contributing to the overall success of projects and the team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture is preferred.
  • Ability to walk and perform physical inspections for extended periods of time, and work at heights or in challenging conditions.
  • Strong observational skills with an ability to identify defects or areas of concern that may not be easily noticeable.
  • Valid registration certificate as Façade Inspector (Singapore)
