The role

Reporting to the Construction Project Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join Uni-flex Technology Pte Ltd as a Construction Site Public Relation Officer. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing communication and community engagement for an ongoing construction project in the Orchard Central Region.

Key responsibilities

  1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all external stakeholders, including local residents, businesses and government authorities
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement plan to proactively address concerns and build positive relationships
  3. Manage all inquiries, complaints and feedback from the public, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
  4. Coordinate site tours and information sessions to improve transparency and community awareness
  5. Collaborate with the construction team to provide updates on project progress and mitigate disruptions
  6. Maintain detailed records of all community interactions and report on key metrics
  7. Support the broader corporate communications initiatives of Uni-flex Technology Pte Ltd

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar public relations or community engagement role, preferably within the construction industry
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  3. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset
  4. Proven track record of implementing successful community engagement programs
  5. Familiarity with local regulations and community dynamics in the Orchard Central Region
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM systems
