Project Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Coordinator to join a dynamic construction company This role offers the chance to manage diverse projects, develop your leadership skills, and contribute to the successful completion of high-quality construction projects.

What you'll be doing?

• Project Management: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring efficient project execution and timely completion.
• Resource Allocation: Oversee daily manpower allocation and ensure work activities align with construction and shop drawings.
• Progress Monitoring: Track work progress, attend project meetings, and liaise with clients and consultants to maintain project momentum.
• Documentation Support: Assist the Project Manager in preparing shop drawings and method statements for submission.
• Reporting and Record-Keeping: Ensure timely preparation of project progress reports, inspection records, handover documents, and defects lists.
• Quality Control: Record work defects and maintain proper documentation for variation orders and other changes.
• Timely Delivery: Work towards completing and handing over projects within deadlines while achieving high-quality finishes.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively address site issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Observe and enforce proper construction safety measures on-site.
• Procurement Oversight: Manage the procurement of materials and equipment to support project operations.
• Coordination: Liaise with workshop and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of products and installation works.

Who are they looking for?

• Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction field.
• Work Style: Ability to work independently and thrive under tight schedules.
• Project Skills: Strong project coordination and management capabilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret architectural & technical drawings and translate them into construction activities.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in using project management software and MS Office suite.
• Safety Certifications: Possession of relevant safety certifications like BCSS is advantageous.

Other Information:

• Working Day: 5.5 Days
• Working Hour: 830am-530pm / 830am-1230pm
• Working Location: Lorong Chuan
• Salary Range: $3,500-$5,000 (Depend on experience)
