Fund Manager – Blockchain Investment Fund

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fund Manager to lead the development, launch, and management of our blockchain-focused investment fund. This role requires a deep understanding of the blockchain industry, proven investment expertise, and the ability to generate traction in a competitive market. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the fund, from strategy formulation and deal sourcing to portfolio management and investor relations, while ensuring compliance with Singapore's regulatory framework under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Key Responsibilities

• Fund Strategy & Development: Design and implement the investment strategy for the fund, focusing on blockchain companies with high growth potential. Define target sectors, geographies, and investment criteria.
• Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities in blockchain startups. Conduct thorough due diligence, including technical, financial, and market analysis.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the fund's portfolio, monitor performance, and provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies to maximize value creation and returns.
• Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, providing regular updates, performance reports, and market insights. Raise capital and expand the fund's investor base.
• Market Traction: Leverage industry networks, events, and partnerships to establish the fund's presence and credibility in the blockchain investment ecosystem. Drive visibility and attract high-quality deal flow.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all fund activities comply with MAS regulations and Mindful Wealth's internal policies. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to maintain licensing requirements.
• Team Leadership: Collaborate with analysts, advisors, and other team members to execute the fund's vision. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Industry Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of blockchain trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics. Represent Mindful Wealth at industry conferences, panels, and networking events.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, or related investment fields, with a proven track record of managing or investing in companies.
• Investment Expertise: Demonstrated success in sourcing, structuring, and managing investments, preferably in venture capital, private equity, or fund management. Experience with blockchain-specific investments (e.g., DeFi, NFTs, Web3, or infrastructure projects) is highly desirable.
• Network & Traction: Strong industry connections within the blockchain ecosystem and a history of generating deal flow or traction in competitive markets.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, tokenomics, and decentralized systems. Ability to assess the technical viability of early-stage projects.
• Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment for high-growth, high-risk investments.
• Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of Singapore's financial regulations, particularly those governed by the MAS, and experience working within a licensed EAM or similar entity is an advantage.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) or blockchain-specific certifications are a plus.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging investors and stakeholders; Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
