You will be part of the team that drives and implements the various staff capability building and Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives to meet RP's organisational needs.

You will be involved in a diverse range of activities to support the Polytechnic's L&D Framework and strategies. You will play a part in the design and implementation of L&D interventions and programmes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, design and execute L&D strategies and processes to develop and engage all levels of staff at the Polytechnic.

  • Partner and work with internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of the training programmes and interventions.

  • Ensure the relevance of learning and development related policies and guidelines.

  • Manage training administration matters which includes L&D operations, overseas training trip request, preparation of management reports and address staff queries on learning matters.

  • Identify & review potential areas of process improvement and be part of the team to develop suitable solutions to meet the delivery gaps.

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Management, or its related fields.

  • At least three years of relevant work experience in policy implementation work, with familiarity in progressive learning and development practices and trends.

  • Prior experience in the public sector is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and writing skills.

  • A team player who is independent, resilient, resourceful and comfortable with taking a hands-on approach.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint) and digitally-proficient to learn the use of new learning tools.

  • Some experience with Workday HCM, SAP HR, Robotics Process Automation, Power Automate, Chatbots and Macro programming will be advantageous.
