MINDS is today one of the largest charities in Singapore employing more than 850 staff. DESIGNATION : Temporary Programme Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Programmes

  • Assist in the day-to-day administration of the Appropriate Adult Command Centre.
  • Ensure service calls are attended to 100% of the time.
  • Conduct programmes based on client needs.
  • Conduct needs assessment to support development of programmes.
  • Maintain updated records on service calls and clients.

Manage Manpower Resources

  • Plan and deploy manpower to support programmes.
  • Guide volunteers in executing programme activities.

Manage Volunteer Resources

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection activities for volunteers.
  • Match volunteers to appropriate programmes and clients based on programme requirements and volunteer interests and expertise.
  • Facilitate volunteer participation in training programmes.
  • Maintain volunteer database and training records.

Facilitate Volunteer Partnerships

  • Conduct needs analysis for volunteer programmes.
  • Support risk assessments of volunteer participation.
  • Develop requirements for volunteer profiles.
  • Implement risk management measures for volunteers in collaboration with the programme team.

Manage Volunteer Policies and Processes

  • Support development of volunteer management policies and processes.
  • Monitor compliance to volunteer policies and processes in programmes.
  • Coordinate with other organisations for the execution of programmes.
  • Conduct outreach activities to target client group, other organisations and the community.
  • Support development of community outreach plan to other organisations and the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma/Degree with 1- 2 years working experience.
    Social Service sector / programme management experience will be an advantage.

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Willingness to be hands-on with strong communication and good interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic and have a strong Interest towards understanding and serving Persons with Intellectual Disability and their caregivers.
  • Self-driven and a team player.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Available to work till January 2026.
