Our client is seeking a Manager, Facility Planning & Management to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Project Management: Oversee upgrading and infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies, tender preparation, and project supervision.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery of works.
  • Maintenance Supervision: Oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance of M&E and building systems to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Budget Planning: Manage and monitor budgets for maintenance, cyclical works, and projects, optimizing resources and cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections, audits, and follow-up on defects and rectification works.
  • Sustainability Leadership: Spearhead initiatives aligned with the Singapore Green Plan 2030, such as solar energy and utilities efficiency improvements.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, updates, and management papers for committees and senior management.
  • Emergency Response: Address urgent building-related incidents and attend committee meetings, including after-hours when necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Guide, coach, and motivate team members to build capabilities and achieve high professional service standards.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities/Property Management or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: 8-10 years of supervisory/managerial experience in development, A&A project management, facilities management, and property maintenance.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of M&E systems, building codes, statutory regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adaptability: Resilient and responsive approach to handling building emergencies and operational challenges.
