About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of financial and management accounting activities for our group of companies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, solid leadership skills, and hands-on experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance. Exposure to corporate secretarial functions will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full set of accounts for the group of companies, including monthly closing, reporting, and consolidation.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Manage cash flow, cost control, financial analysis, and risk management for the group.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial service providers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Review and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Support corporate secretarial duties such as preparing board resolutions, assisting with AGM/EGM matters, and maintaining statutory records.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
  • Proven track record in managing finances for a group of companies or conglomerate.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in managing finance functions for a group of companies.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and tax regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with group consolidation is essential.
  • Familiarity with corporate secretarial processes is an advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
