Our client located in Tuas, who is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage their financial operations. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable to a high-volume, fast-paced environment, and comfortable managing ambiguity and change. A solid understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management is essential to drive continuous improvement and implement efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring alignment with company goals, policies, and budgets.
  • Monitor and ensure targeted daily sales outstanding (DSO) is met.
  • Perform credit risk analysis on new and existing customers.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory procedures.
  • Drive optimization of financial processes, especially in Accounts Payable and payment cycles.
  • Manage group cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity while minimizing financial and interest risks.
  • Supervise costing functions, ensuring accuracy, resolving cost variances, and analyzing unusual contribution margin (CM) movements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with operational functions.
  • Partner with FP&A and General Ledger teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Liaise with external parties, including auditors, tax agents, and banks.
  • Lead or support ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years in operational finance.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team of at least 5 staff.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
