The Accountant is responsible in assisting the Financial Controller in preparing and reviewing the monthly reports requested by management and corporate office. He/she is to ensure the financial figures are accurate for reporting purposes.

  • Prepare journals for every month end closing including P&L reports for all departments and updating Capex report
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly reports for Management and Corporate Office
  • Review General Cashier reports & revenue reconciliation from Income Auditor
  • Review credit card settlement journals
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, GST reconciliation and balance sheet schedule etc.
  • Liaise with internal auditors and external auditors with regards to the hotel's policies and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records & proper filing of all financial activities
  • Tracking of contract, agreements & licences, ensure renewal on timely basis
  • Assist in ad-hoc assignments by Management
