NorthEast Region, Singapore Nera Telecommunications Ltd Full time $40,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on in preparation of financial reports in compliances with the Group and Company policies and SFRS standards.
  • Overall, in-charge of multi set of books bookkeeping which include GL, AP & AR related matters.
  • Perform revenue and cost recognition according to SFRS115 accounting standard.
  • Coordinate closely with the sales, project, and operations teams to maintain up-to-date project statuses. Ensure timely updates to project-related schedules, including contract assets, contract liabilities, and project job costing, in preparation for review.
  • Provide support on credit control and AR collections related functions.
  • To support the company on the financial reporting and tax filing related matters.
  • Handle internal and external statutory audit related matters, preparation of statutory accounts.
  • To assist the Finance team on any ad-hoc task as assigned by the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or Equivalent.
  • Strong in SFRS or IFRS knowledge and able to work in tight deadline environment, with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application especially in Ms-Excel & Ms-Word.
  • Meticulous, organised and ability to handle multi-tasking in a dynamic/fast-paced environment.
  • A resourceful team player with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels.
  • Minimum with 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Good knowledge and exposure on project accounting will be advantageous.
