Position Overview:
The Health & Benefits Policy Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and administering employee health and benefit programs. This includes ensuring the accuracy of policy data, handling enrolments and renewals, liaising with insurers and employees, and supporting the overall operations of the benefits administration process.
Responsibilities:
Policy Administration
- Manage the full cycle of employee health and benefits administration (enrolments, renewals, terminations, and policy changes).
- Maintain accurate records of employee coverage and policy details in the system.
- Prepare and process policy documentation, billing reconciliations, and renewal summaries.
- Ensure all benefit data is up-to-date and compliant with company and insurer requirements.
Coordination & Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact between the company, employees, and insurance providers.
- Liaise with insurers and brokers to resolve discrepancies, claims, and policy queries.
- Support employees with benefit-related inquiries and guide them on claims procedures.
- Coordinate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate deductions and policy updates.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on benefit utilisation, renewals, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., MOM, CPF, IRAS).
- Assist with audits, renewals, and policy reviews.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline benefits administration processes.
- Support projects related to system migration, automation, or new policy implementation.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Insurance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in benefits administration, insurance operations, or HR shared services.
- Familiarity with health and life insurance products, employee benefits, and policy workflows.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
