Job Highlights:

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive (Fixed Assets) professional to own the full lifecycle of fixed asset decommissioning and disposal. You will design and implement disposal plans, ensure accounting compliance and maintain robust, auditable records.

Nearest MRT: Tanjong Pagar

Working hours: Monday – Thursday (9am to 6pm), Friday (9am to 5.30pm)

Salary: up to $3,600 per month

Contract duration: 11 months

Job Descriptions:

  • Lead end-to-end decommissioning: identification, tagging, condition assessment, and physical verification of assets.
  • Develop and execute disposal strategies (transfer, sale, auction, write-off) that meet prescribed procedures and approvals.
  • Ensure disposals are accurately reflected in accounts.
  • Coordinate valuation, accounting and approval processes.
  • Maintain complete, auditable documentation and traceability for every disposal transaction.
  • Act as primary responder to internal and external audit observations; implement remedial actions and improvements.
  • Drive process improvements, risk mitigation and training to strengthen asset governance.

Job Requirements:

  • Only Singaporean.
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Building / Construction Management Public Administration, or related disciplines.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in in public sector procurement, contract management and fixed asset accounting is preferred.
