Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager, Airside Operations Planning

The Airside Operations Planning Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager plays a crucial role to facilitate safe and efficient aircraft operations on runways and taxiways, such as the prevention of accidents from runway incursions.
You will develop and review policies, concept of operations and spearhead the implementation of initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety in areas of runway safety management, foreign object debris (FOD) hazard management, wildlife hazard management, and systems/infrastructure in the airfield manoeuvring area. You will also maintain safety programmes and work closely with the relevant stakeholders to coordinate and align our safety efforts to maintain high safety standards for Changi Airport. The work may involve aircraft (airlines and aircrew), Air Traffic Controllers, ground handling agents, licensed drivers and other internal and external stakeholders.
Working closely with the relevant stakeholders, you will also review runway safety recommendations for implementation in Changi Airport, and drive the implementation of the safety measures.
You will also collaborate with operations and engineering colleagues to ensure asset and SOP compliance for safe and efficient operations on the airfield and provide operational inputs to key airfield projects and long-term airfield development. The work also involves analysing the factors affecting the airfield's operational capacity and efficiency and actively seek to reduce them for e.g. runway downtime due to picking up of foreign object and bird strike debris.
You will also engage in innovative projects, introducing and trialing new technologies to shape the future of airside safety and operations. This includes leveraging technology for better detection capabilities and prevention of runway incursions, FOD and wildlife hazards.
Requirements:

- Able to multi-task with good operational discernment
- Interpersonal skills to engage key stakeholders at various levels
- Experience in airside operations and familiarity with the airfield will be advantageous
