Location: Senja Care Home

The incument will be supporting the overall training and development function by identifying the training needs and gaps to be bridged through the planned training programs to ensure that the employees are equipped with the right knowledge and skills competencies to perform their tasks as well as for their career growth and development. He/She will also be responsible to work and follow up with government agencies for required fundings for training programs.

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify training gaps

  • Plan and implement training plans for employees

  • Manage the training programs calendar

  • Manage the training administration as follows:

  • Provide support in training logistics for internal and external courses

  • Ensure timely registration of course applications and payment

  • Update and maintain training records

  • Gather training evaluations and analyse the data for effective management of learning outcomes

  • Process training grants, application and claims, such as, WDA, CCTP, CCMDA, absenteeism payroll, etc with the respective government agencies

  • Administer training bonds

  • Prepare and manage the training budgets and expenses

  • Report to the management on training expenses vs budget on a quarterly basis

  • Monitor claims submission and funding received

  • Support industry collaboration initiatives and workforce development programs, including:

  • Career Conversion Programs & Return to Nursing Schemes to enable seamless career transitions and strengthen workforce capabilities

  • Career Fairs and Learning Journeys to attract and engage potential talent while showcasing career opportunities

  • Course Sponsorships, Scholarships, and Internships to build a sustainable talent pipeline

  • Drive employee recognition and engagement initiatives to foster a motivated and committed workforce

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration / Business Management or other fields

  • 2 years of Prior HR (Training & Development) experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills particularly in dealing with employees matters

  • Meticulous and possess an eye for details.

  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
