Production Planning Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and expedite shop floor activities to ensure production timelines are met and on-time delivery to customers.
  • Generate and manage Job Orders (JO), Purchase Requisitions (PR), and Purchase Orders (PO) to facilitate smooth production operations.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to priority orders and ensure timely closure of Job Orders (JOs).
  • Collaborate with various departments to resolve any production-related issues and ensure seamless workflow.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Educational Background:
  • ITE/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Precision Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in production planning and control, ideally in a mechanical or precision manufacturing environment.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management, with the ability to generate and analyze reports.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, high performance standards, and a commitment to personal integrity.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to ensure production goals are met.
