Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Café Supervisor to lead our team in a bustling café located in Punggol Digital District. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Team Management
- Supervise daily café operations, including opening/closing procedures, staff scheduling, and workflow management.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members (baristas, servers, kitchen staff) to deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Customer Service & Quality Control
- Maintain high standards of beverage and food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements where needed.
- Lead by example in providing friendly, efficient, and personalized service.
Administrative & Financial Duties
- Manage cash handling, daily sales reports, and POS transactions.
Assist in inventory management, stock ordering, and cost control to minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace regulations.
Business Growth & Innovation
- Support marketing initiatives (e.g., promotions, seasonal menus) to attract customers.
- Suggest menu improvements or operational enhancements based on trends and customer preferences.
Requirements
- Tertiary Education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a café, coffee shop, or F&B supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire a team.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation, customer service, and café operations.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management, and basic financial tracking.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Food hygiene certification (e.g., WSQ Basic Food Hygiene) is a plus.
- Passion for the specialty coffee scene and café culture.
Compensation
· Full Time: Salary ranges from $3,150 to $3,300
