Marketing and Communications Consultant

The azbil Group pursues "human-centered automation" as its core initiative for the purpose of contributing to people's safety, comfort, and fulfillment. Azbil is expanding its businesses in the areas of building automation, advanced automation for factories and plants, and life automation for essential services and people's health and well-being. To further the company's growth, it is also expanding actively in overseas markets and is looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team. You will work closely with our management team and be responsible for managing corporate brand continuity to ensure global brand compliance and consistency and develop and execute corporate communication activities in the Southeast Asia and India region.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute of corporate communication activities for Southeast Asia and India region
- Manage, track, analyze and report on corporate communication activities and lead development
- Manage the global brand continuity and compliance throughout the branding activities, materials,
collateral and other materials as defined by the organizational brand guidelines. - Develop, copyedit and proofread written content for internal and external audiences
- Provide market and competitors' updates pertaining to technological trends, new products, compelling applications and incorporate them into the marketing plans
- Organize and execution of all events and activities, gathering of feedback, preparation of reports and develop follow-up activities
- Work with the media to develop news stories/angles and securing interviews
- Co-ordinate media opportunities for key global and regional leaders in reputable media channels
- Build and maintain good relationships with key media
- Source of speaking opportunities at corporate and industry events and co-ordinate submissions to award panels and other recognition platforms
- Manage the internal dissemination of company news, activities, events and announcements
- Source and liaise with vendors including advertising agencies, public relations firms, production houses, as well as other marketing vendors, and partners
- Support and collaborate with the sustainability team to align marketing campaigns with the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
- Create and communicate narratives around the company's sustainability efforts and develop educational content to raise awareness about sustainability among customers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Identify and promote partnerships with eco-friendly organizations, NGOs, or green certification bodies.
- Stay updated on sustainability trends and integrate them into marketing strategies to maintain relevance and authenticity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Marketing Communications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
- Experience in Technology and B2B environment will be an advantage
- Excellent communicator with good PowerPoint skills
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Possess solid experience in digital production and web-based project management
- Experience in customer relationship management system, is a plus
- Good time-management and organizational skills in managing multiple priorities and projects
