1. Operations & Production Management Skills

  • Cost & Capacity Control: Able to accurately calculate costs of ingredients, labor, utilities, etc., promptly identify waste or abnormalities, and ensure stable gross profit.
  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Able to develop production plans based on order volume, seasonal demand, and inventory levels; arrange shifts reasonably to avoid "people waiting for materials" or "materials waiting for people."
  • Process Optimization: Familiar with central kitchen production processes, capable of continuously improving SOPs to boost efficiency and reduce rework rates.

2. Food Safety & Quality Control

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understands Singapore's food safety regulations (SFA, NEA, etc.) and export standards, ensuring the factory is 100% compliant.
  • Quality Control System Development: Establishes and enforces standardized systems for raw material inspection, process monitoring, and finished product testing.
  • Traceability & Emergency Response: Able to quickly trace batches and organize recalls when food safety issues arise, minimizing risks and losses.

3. Supply Chain & Resource Integration

  • Supplier Management: Skilled in negotiation, able to reduce raw material procurement costs without compromising quality, and avoid dependency on a single supplier.
  • Inventory Management: Proficient in controlling inventory turnover rates to reduce expiry and overstock.
  • Contingency Handling: Can quickly find alternative solutions when facing shortages or logistics delays.

4. Team Management & Culture Building

  • Leadership: Capable of motivating veteran staff for steady output while also training new employees to become productive quickly.
  • Conflict Resolution: Able to resolve workshop disputes and cross-department collaboration issues to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Execution: Delivers on commitments without delay, ensuring initiatives are implemented effectively.

5. Data Analysis & Application Skills

  • Data Sensitivity: Able to interpret production reports, cost analysis sheets, and loss rate data to make optimization decisions.
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using ERP systems or Excel for production, inventory, and cost analysis and forecasting.
