Our client is seeking an IT Security Manager / IT Security Officer to join their team

What you'll be doing?
  • Cyber Vigilance: Monitor security event logs and respond swiftly to incidents, minimizing disruption to business operations.
  • Risk Management: Conduct assessments and develop strategies to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to IT security policies and regulations, including IM8 and PDPA, while developing and maintaining security procedures.
  • Incident Response: Lead the development of response plans and coordinate efforts with key stakeholders during security events.
  • Security Awareness: Promote and deliver security training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Incident Prevention: Identify root causes of security incidents and implement permanent resolutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Audit Participation: Engage in various IT security audits, including reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
Who are they looking for?
  • Cybersecurity Expert: 5-7 years of IT experience in cybersecurity management, with a focus on incident response, vulnerability management (e.g., Tenable, Nessus), and governance risk and compliance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with security technologies such as application security, penetration testing, or vulnerability management systems. Experience with cloud security, including AWS or Azure or GCP. Knowledge of federal information security regulations, such as FISMA or FIPS. Experience and knowledgeable in security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, Zero Trust framework, NIST Cybersecurity Framework , CIS hardening.
  • Security Technologies: Security information and event management (SIEM) systems. Able to Identity and access management (IAM/PAM/MFA) systems
  • Certified Professional: Hold at least one industry-recognized certification such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC/CISA, or CEH.
  • Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
  • Office Location: Kallang Pl, Singapore 339213
  • Salary: $7000 - $8000
