About the Role

The company is looking for a Cargo Sales Officer to support airline cargo sales by promoting cargo capacity, servicing clients, securing bookings from freight forwarders and logistics companies, and coordinating internally to ensure smooth cargo movement. This role is ideal for candidates who are client-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a commercial air cargo environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and secure bookings for assigned airline cargo capacity
  • Build and maintain relationships with freight forwarders and logistics clients
  • Follow up on rate requests, quotations, and booking confirmations
  • Coordinate with airline partners, operations, and reservations teams to ensure service delivery
  • Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, and space availability
  • Assist with preparation of sales reports and airline submission requirements
  • Participate in client visits, calls, and meetings when necessary
  • Support the senior sales team in achieving overall sales targets

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in air cargo sales, freight forwarding, or airline/GSA sales support
  • GCE 'O' Level or Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field
  • Basic understanding of airfreight processes and Singapore logistics industry
  • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
