Singapore Manfield Employment Services Pte Ltd Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workplace Safety & Health Documentation:

    Assist in the establishment and maintenance of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) documentation and records in accordance with relevant WSH legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Assessment & Method Statements:

    Review method statements and risk assessments (as required) to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and subsidiary legislation.
  • Compliance Inspections & Audits:

    Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WSH regulations, safety management systems, and client requirements.
  • Daily Safety Inspections:

    Carry out daily inspections to identify unsafe conditions and work practices. Recommend and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Hazard Control Support:

    Assist in evaluating and applying reasonably practicable measures to mitigate workplace risks and improve safety conditions.
  • Audit & Emergency Preparedness:

    Support the conduct of internal and external HSSEQ audits, client assessments, and authority reviews. Coordinate and participate in emergency drills, tabletop exercises, and security drills. Ensure timely follow-up and closure of safety actions.
  • Fire Safety & Emergency Equipment Maintenance:

    Coordinate with vendors and contractors to maintain emergency and fire safety equipment. Perform and document monthly fire alarm testing.
  • HSSEQ Training:

    Plan, develop, and conduct HSSEQ-related training sessions for staff, visitors, contractors, and hauliers.
  • Incident Management:

    Respond to non-conformities, near misses, and incidents. Support investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective measures. Ensure prompt follow-up and closure of related actions.
  • Site Security Oversight:

    Oversee site security operations and manage coordination with the appointed security agency providing 24-hour coverage.
  • General Duties:

    Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Provide support by covering for absent team members when required.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics
  • At least 1 year of experience on Jurong Island; able to work on-site
  • Strong attention to detail with hands-on operational background
  • Comfortable working at height and climbing cat ladders
  • Proficient in MS Office and in-house systems
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Qualifications:
  • Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or relevant safety certifications
  • Completed WSH Coordinator Refresher Course
  • Confined Space Assessor certificate (advantageous)
    ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Internal Auditor trained (advantageous)
