Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigating workplace incidents, accidents and near misses, prepare reports and propose corrective actions to be implemented.
- Promote safety awareness and best practices among employees through toolbox meetings.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinating with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety laws, regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or a related disciplines.
- At least 1 year of experience in a safety-related role (internships or fieldwork experience also considered)
- Good understanding of workplace safety laws, regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication, reporting and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
