Safety Coordinator

Job Scope

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential safety hazards
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for site personnel
  • Maintain detailed records of safety incidents, near misses and corrective actions taken
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Investigate and report on all accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures
  • Assist in the development and review of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Participate in regular safety committee meetings to discuss and address safety concerns

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry
  • Exposure from LTA or MRT or Tunnel or Structural steel project is highly advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant safety certifications, such as WSHC Level B or Level C
