Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and social conditions to understand their therapy needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans with clearly defined goals and therapeutic activities.
  • Monitor and assess patient progress, updating treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate and guide patients' families and caregivers on proper care techniques and necessary adaptations.
  • Collaborate closely with doctors, family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professional Council
  • Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience, with experience in nursing homes or hospitals
  • Compassionate, patient-centered, and team-oriented.
