About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Restaurant Assistant Manager. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our restaurant in the Paya Lebar East Region.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and financial reporting
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Implementing and monitoring operational policies and procedures to drive efficiency and profitability
  • Analysing sales data and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Providing leadership and mentoring to the restaurant team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Liaising with suppliers and coordinating deliveries to maintain inventory levels
  • Assisting with the recruitment, training, and development of restaurant staff
  • Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar restaurant assistant manager or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record in driving operational efficiency and financial performance
  • Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Adaptable and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
