The Opportunity
The Business Development Manager - SE Asia will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth across the region through the proactive generation, pursuit, and conversion of new business opportunities.
This role requires a commercially astute and results-driven professional capable of managing the entire sales lifecycle — from lead generation and prospecting through to pitching, negotiation, and successful deal closure. The position demands a strong ability to identify untapped markets, build strategic relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that align with customer needs and company objectives.
Working closely with the Regional Operations and Finance Managers, the BDM will ensure that new business initiatives are commercially sound, operationally achievable, and strategically aligned with corporate growth plans. The successful candidate will strengthen B&H Worldwide's market presence, enhance customer engagement, and uphold our reputation for Best-in-Class service delivery within the aerospace logistics sector.

Location: Singapore, with regular travel in region
Key Role Accountabilities:
- Drive profitable and sustainable growth by proactively creating, identifying, and converting new business opportunities within the region — acting as a true deal closer who can deliver measurable results.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, leveraging industry networks, market intelligence, and strategic outreach to generate high-quality leads and long-term partnerships.
- Secure and embed new business through effective stakeholder engagement and alignment across all stages of implementation and onboarding, ensuring seamless transitions and strong client retention.
- Lead the preparation and management of RFPs/RFQs, critically assessing commercial viability, opportunity, and risk to ensure a targeted, strategic, and winnable approach to new or expanded aerospace business.
- Develop and grow the Customer Solutions team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management to enhance sales capability, conversion rates, and profitability.
- Identify and expand new sales channels and customer segments within the aerospace logistics market while contributing to the ongoing evolution of B&H Worldwide's customer solutions offering.
- Report directly to the Executive Team and Board, maintaining accountability for business development performance, pipeline progression, and strategic growth outcomes.
- Collaborate with global Network teams to strengthen relationships across regions and reinforce B&H Worldwide's leadership position in aerospace logistics.
- Monitor and analyse industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive informed, data-based decision-making.
- Partner with the Marketing team to elevate brand presence and visibility through targeted campaigns, events, and digital engagement that support lead generation and sales conversion.

Your Experience
- Extensive end-to-end solution sales experience within the aerospace logistics industry — from lead generation and pipeline building through to client engagement, negotiation, and successful deal closure in a customer-facing, target-driven environment.
- Proven success in creating and converting new business opportunities, demonstrating initiative, industry insight, and persistence to build a high-quality, sustainable sales funnel.
- Strong closer with excellent negotiation and influencing skills, able to secure commercially beneficial outcomes that balance customer requirements with company objectives.
- Commercially astute and customer-focused, capable of designing and delivering tailored logistics solutions that drive operational and financial performance.
- Analytical and strategic thinker, able to interpret complex data, market trends, and customer metrics to shape winning sales strategies and business cases.
- Inspirational leader and team coach, with a record of developing and motivating high-performing teams to achieve ambitious targets.
- Must be eligible to work in Singapore without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
