Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Execution

  • Develop and execute automation test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.

  • Perform acceptance, regression, and ad-hoc testing across multiple platforms.
  • Conduct data integrity verifications, report reconciliation, and data flow validation across upstream/downstream systems.

  • Ensure alignment with test scope, entry/exit criteria, and validation requirements across all test phases.

  • Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

  • Participate in planning, design reviews, and test readiness/completion reviews.

  • Document test results, defects, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Defect Management and Reporting

  • Log and track defects using test management tools.

  • Produce defect reports and test completion reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in financial services or exchange systems.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, Playwright, and Tosca is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse, experience with KDB dashboards, and insight into time-series data is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
