Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Directly reporting to the IT Lead to deliver functional expertise, leadership and support IT systems and solution for the region
  2. Responsible for IT system project implementation, and maintenance support
  3. Install and configure Server Operating Systems (Linux and Windows Servers)
  4. Install and configure Networking Systems (Switches, Routers, Firewall, VPNs)
  5. Perform security hardening, backups and maintain baseline system documentations
  6. Develop, maintain and document the installation, and configuration procedures
  7. Prepare factory acceptance test report, site acceptance test report, training and support documentation
  8. Prepare, update and deliver regular project status updates
  9. Must be able to use discretion in handling confidential information
  10. Strong analytical, communications and interpersonal skills
  11. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, prioritize tasks, communicate in a professional and timely manner in a team environment
  12. Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  13. Ownership and follow up skills
  14. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and efficiently
  15. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  16. Able to work in customers' premises and travel overseas on job assignment when required
  17. Able to work after office hours, weekends and public holidays when required
  18. Able to perform standby duty to attend to customers' sites during and after office hours, weekends and public holidays where necessary
  19. Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
  20. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  21. Understand and adhere to health & safety policies and ensure quality of workmanship is maintained at all times to the highest possible standards
