Responsibilities

  • Perform failure analysis and verification for incoming parts, as required; all components, parts, and assemblies delivered from suppliers conform to requirements.
  • Interpret technical information from specifications/ engineering prints and communicate these technical requirements to suppliers upon detecting quality issues.
  • Parts qualification: Review and approve First Article submission from product quality requirements. Co-ordinate First Article Approval activities with suppliers.
  • Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR): Communicate/ feedback to suppliers on quality issues for corrective actions. Review suppliers' corrective actions and follow-up on their effectiveness.
  • Maintenance of Quality System: Develop and maintain company's QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
  • Qualify new supplier who are supplying critical component, in ensuring the desire output is consistently meeting product requirement.
  • Perform routine supplier audit to assess their compliance with quality standards, including ISO 9001.
  • Issue SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request), follow up with suppliers' corrective actions and perform effectiveness review.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering or any related field with 1-3 years of Quality Experience is preferred. No experience are welcomed to apply.
  • Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Experience in executing supplier audit is recommended.
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of inspection methods, equipment and engineering drawings is a plus.
  • 1 year contract with full benefits including completion bonus
