Job Title: Network Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Operations Lead to manage network infrastructure operations, lead incident resolution, and ensure optimal system performance and availability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, and F5 technologies, along with a solid understanding of ITSM/ITIL practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of network-related hardware, software, and firmware incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement temporary or permanent fixes.
• Provide timely stakeholder updates throughout incident handling.
• Conduct daily system health checks and continuous monitoring to ensure performance, availability, and security.
• Highlight and escalate abnormalities promptly.
• Ensure all network device backups are executed and validated.
• Maintain complete and accurate network documentation and records.
• Collaborate with customers to review and update SOPs.
• Create and maintain documentation for all implemented network solutions.
• Gather business and application requirements to design, install, test, and implement network systems.
• Plan and execute hardware and firmware upgrades with proper rollback strategies.
• Implement service continuity measures, including backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans.
• Align operations with ITSM/ITIL processes including Change, Incident, Problem, Release Management, and CMDB updates.
• Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Review firewall rules monthly for relevance and security posture.
• Validate network configurations against CIS benchmarks and remediate gaps.
• Conduct log reviews and escalate potential security events.
• Reconcile physical and logical network assets and maintain accurate CMDB updates.
• Execute full patch management lifecycle: scanning, prioritization, deployment, and testing.
• Analyze resource utilization and perform capacity planning.
• Produce monthly service reports covering incidents, changes, metrics, performance, and security compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of network engineers.
• Support proposal preparation and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to long-term planning and strategy development for network operations.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Cisco switches, routers, and load balancers.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls.
• Familiarity with F5 load balancing technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, security standards, and performance tuning.

Reporting & Deliverables

• Monthly reports covering service metrics, firmware/software updates, patching, asset reconciliation, firewall audits, capacity planning, and security compliance.
• Daily health check logs and monitoring summaries.
