Job Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Network Operations

  • Diagnose technical issues causing incidents and disruptions in infrastructure and network operations.
  • Implement problem management procedures to resolve root causes of infrastructure-related incidents.
  • Provide end-to-end management of technical issues within agreed timeframes.
  • Perform complex infrastructure configuration and support activities.
  • Develop action plans and timelines for infrastructure upgrades.
  • Propose enhancements for infrastructure based on current and future user needs.
  • Conduct pre-implementation testing to assess the impact of upgrades on performance.
  • Organise information to support the development of user guides and training materials.
  • Utilise troubleshooting tools effectively to resolve network infrastructure issues.

Network Performance & Change Management

  • Review network performance and identify opportunities for optimisation to align with business needs.
  • Assess high-complexity change requests and ensure compliance with standard change processes.
  • Analyse network faults or downtime and lead recovery and resolution efforts.
  • Determine and communicate network updates and maintenance schedules.

Software-Defined Networking (SDN)

  • Program basic rules into SDN applications.
  • Monitor the performance of SDN controllers and components.
  • Review and recommend rule changes to optimise network performance.
  • Adjust network-wide traffic flows to meet changing needs.

Process & SOP Development

  • Create, modify, and establish SOPs for engineers as required.
  • Monitor the lifecycle of problems and categorise incidents according to guidelines.
  • Diagnose root causes, propose solutions, and implement preventive measures.
  • Document problems, workarounds, and resolutions.
  • Manage technical escalations from engineers as part of the incident management process.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 6 years in IT and network engineering.
  • CCNP required; CCIE preferred.
  • Strong skills in enterprise & data centre network design.
  • Proficient in IPv4/IPv6, BGP, ACLs, Multicast, SNMP, Syslog, TCP/IP.
  • Hands-on with Cisco Nexus, ACI, VxLAN, vPC (expert in at least 1 domain).
  • Knowledge in network security, SD-WAN, wireless, QoS, and automation (Python/Ansible) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Singaporean Only.
