The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage administrative duties in support of the AFP office, including setting priorities and monitoring workflow of other locally engaged AFP staff, property and financial matters, management of filing systems, as well as general office duties. This also includes the preparation and processing of budgetary, overall financial administration, invoice and reimbursement documentation.
  • Provide high level executive administrative and organisational support to the AFP Senior Officer including diary management, coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and organising travel arrangements and acquittals of official expenses.
  • Manage the preparation of programs and other administrative requirements for visits by senior Australian law enforcement officials to Singapore and vice versa. Co-ordinate official functions / events and training programs including drafting agendas, organising facilities and logistics and co-ordinate the planning, administration and overall support.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Must hold (or be able to obtain) an Australian Government National Security Clearance.
  • Well-developed understanding of the role of the Australian Federal Police ).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to professionally represent AFP to internal and external stakeholder
