Overview:

The Tender Engineer plays a key role in securing new business opportunities for the company. You will collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to understand client needs, develop technical proposals, and calculate project costs. You will also participate in tender evaluation meetings and negotiate with vendors to optimize project outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

·       Analyze project requirements and identify key technical and commercial aspects.

·       Prepare accurate cost estimates, timelines, and tender documents.

·       Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop technical proposals.

·       Review contract terms and conditions and make recommendations.

·       Participate in tender evaluation meetings and negotiate with clients.

·       Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements.

·       Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and industry developments.

·       Support the project management team in the handover of successful tenders.

Requirements :

·       Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Low Voltage Switchboard business.

·       Proven experience in tendering or project management in engineering or construction industry.

·       Strong technical and commercial acumen.

·       Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage cross function teams.

·       Ability to analyze complex project requirements and develop innovative solutions.

·       Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

·       Proficient in using tendering software and Microsoft Office Suite.

·       Adaptivity to dynamic workload pattern with customer centric culture.

·       Ability to stay focus on business objective amidst daily multiple challenges in ever-changing business environment.
